from one of the best nights to one of my worst.
I hate extreme warm weather, I hate humidity, I hate sunny fucking skies...etc.....so we ended up in VA Beach for our day off. Naturally too many fucking people for my taste on the beach, I took a dip in the ocean once everyone left and the sun was out.
I wasn't feeling 100% and when we got to the venue I knew something shitty was gonna go down. Perhaps the worst sound guy I have ever dealt with, half my shit was cut off and when it was fixed it just sounded muddy and shitty. This was hands down the worst show I have ever done. Some folks really liked it, and I felt really bad casue if they loved manufactura at 25% I can Imagine they would have really enjoyed it at 150%.
but not all shows are great, I dont know what the other bands felt about it, but I couldn't wait to get the fuck out of that city. It's illegal to use profanity in public. The entire beach was over run with cops. and the heat was not my friend.
quote of the day: "what the fuck bitch? cant' we talk about anything else beside the fucking weather?? youre just to fucking soft for me that's all."

NYC.....Like L.A. it's one of my favorite places in the world, there's just energy in the city unlike any other.
this was the show I invited the drummer from Chirst Analogue "Charlie" a.k.a. DEERSLAYER. Ben joined us as well and well all I can say is that if do a shit ton of drugs and listen to any manufactura CD backwards and then quickly play it forwards while running a fucking bulldozer through the join, you kind of get the idea. It was loud and it was crazy, I loved it.
got to hang with NYC homies some I havent seen in a while whish I could have hung out more but we had to split the city. NYC ROCKS!!
I'm not going to mention anything about being left behind in NYC, as It would be pointless to bring that shit back up.

At first I was a little worried about the venue, but as soon as the night started it went off with out any problems and it became a great fucking night. I had a dancer on stage with me, provided by the venue, so it was pretty interesting to see how fast the girl could dance to some of the beats and breaks...ahahahaha... ran into some of the NYC folks there and the night was a great night to hang and to enjoy the show as well. quote of the day: "wow, that dancers booty is on hydrolics."

The Haunt was a pretty cool fucking venue and the folks there were fucking awesome.
not many people there had ever heard of me so the energy through the set was none. but the cool thing about these types of shows is that folks with open minds get introduced to new sounds. which is exactly what happened.
ran into Raul at the show hung out for while and just took it easy as it was our 10th show in a row.
quote of the day: "what the hell was that woossh, woosshh, ack, ack, bzzz sound you were doing up there??"

I had to open up the show kind of early, so some folks missed out on the fun, but I had a blast. met up with with friends Nate, Andy & Jen and they as always were very supportive and yelled at me through out the whole set, it was great!
after the set I was kidnaped by some friends and got to hang out out in some bar that I cant remember the name to it but it looked like some "clock work orange" "2001: space odyssey" bar. pretty cool, drank alot, had an awesome time and I wanted to hang out more but we had to leave to the next city.
quote of the day: "you look at me like that gain and I swear to god I'll throw this fucking drink at you"

I had agreat time in Buffalo, hung out most of the day with Brian McDaniel and his friends. Got me some cheap smokes at the indian reservation and had some sushi in town.
The crowd was cool, ran into Jen from Toronto, it was quite a surprise. The set started a little rough as the sound man jumped on stage and began unpluging my shit, but it got fixed quickly enough and I was able to finish the gig with out incident. The only downfall to Buffalo is that I CAN'T FUCKING SMOKE INDOORS!!!! fucking bullshit. it was cold as shit outside and I froze my nuts trying to smoke. I hate NY state because of that, its the most stupid law that I have ever had to deal with.
quote of the day: "man just as I was getting into that sound it was all over"

I was very excited to finally play and hang out in Philly. I got my hands on a Philly cheese steak and life was good for 20 minutes, great fucking food. I walked around the trendy, touristy part of town for a while it was cool, but nothing that other cities didn't have. The old buildings with crooked walls were interesting.
I met up with Ben and had him join me on stage/floor of the venue. as we started to play our set some girl started to dance and get really excited, through the middle of the first track she worked her way over to the bass speakers, she began to dance like she was being fucked by some invisible enitity or something, what made it more strange is that the rest of the crowd was just staring at her. she eventually lifted up her skirt over her hips, she got on the floor and began dry humping the bass speakers. I saw all this while trying to concentrate on my shit, suddenly she jumps up from the ground and comes towards me, she grabs my shoulder and yells in my ear "you guys are hot, the music is hot, oh my this is fucking great...yeah.." I was more worried about her being so close to my gear that I just said something like "that's great" and gave her a thumbs up. She then walked over to the dance floor and from what I heard got into a fight with a friend of mine becasue she wanted him to hit her, she kept asking him to hit her over and over , he told her he doesnt hit women, so she hit him and tried to rip his shirt. I'm not sure what happened after that but I think she got kicked out.
aside from that, the turn out was light but the energy was there, people seemed to have a good time. I spent some quality time with ROY the "Noise Ferret" he's an old albino ferret with red eyes..heh...heh...
quote of the day: "he's got some dominatrix girl here in the city that sticks things up his ass and gets him off"

not really one of the best shows I've done, but there were some great people there and that made all the difference. The show was on a middle of finals week so the turn out was not the best we've had.
did a radio interview for the local college radio station and hung out with some nice folks. the town it self is very jock & college oriented, from the food, to the bars etc. just to remind folks that might be reading these entries, the quotes are from various people that I've met on the road from various conversations, I cant remember every name so I dont list names.
quote of the day: "I got something to say.....give me the keys casue I'm driving......ahahahaha...yup....I came up with that one all by my self...ahahaha."
